Day – 01 – Arrival and Transfer to Darjeeling – Our representative will be there to receive the Guest at New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) or Bagdogra Airport (IXB) or Tenzing Norgay Bus Stand (Junction) – He will be assisting to reach Darjeeling – Nearly 80 kilometers 3 hours drive will take you to Darjeeling(2123 meters / 7001 feet) –Darjeeling located in northern part of West Bengal is the home of age-old Toy Train, Himalaya Mountaineering Institute(established by Tenzing Norgay),Tiger Hill, Passenger Ropeway-One can get panoramic view of Mount Kanchenjunga,beautiful tea gardens, steep hillsides, timber forests-Delicious thukpa and momos should not be missed– Places in vicinity areMirk,Kalimpong,Kurseong,Pashupati,Phalut and Sandakphu- Check into hotel – In the evening Mall and Chowrasta can be visited to buy handicrafts ,souvenir, eatables and others . Over night stay at Darjeeling Day – 02 – Darjeeling Local Sight Seeing – Morning drive from your hotel to Tiger Hill (8482 feet / 2590 meters) at around 3:45 am-Sun worshippers can catch the beautiful sight of early rays of sun falling over the Mount Kanchenjunga– Please note Tiger Hill excursion is available only in early mornings after which it is closed -While returning back, a visit to Ghoom Monastery, Peace memorial & Batasia -Back to hotel for breakfast – Free time for personal activities between breakfast and Lunch -Then next round of sightseeing – Full Day city tour of places Padmaja Naidu Zoological Park, Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (Closed on Thursday), Ropeway, Tibetan Refugee Self Help Center (Closed on Sunday),Beautiful Tea Estate,Lebong Race Course Area, Natural History Museum (Sunday Closed), Peace Pagoda – The car will be at your disposal-But it might be not be possible to cover all the places mentioned in a single day- -Back to hotel – In the evening Mall and Chowrasta can be visited to buy handicrafts ,souvenir, eatables and others. Overnight stay at Darjeeling Day – 03 – Excursion to Mirik (Full Day) – Morning Breakfast – After breakfast drive to Mirik, nearly 58 kilometers / 1 ½ – 2 hours drive –Mirik’s main attraction is Sumendu Lake surrounded by garden on one-side and alpine forests in other side linked by a footbridge,Indreni Pull.-Paddle boating in the lake and pony ride is also available here.- Orange orchards, tea estates, cardamom grooves,Rai-dhap and Kwala Dara are in vicinity – Full day excursion of Mirik Lake – While returning back to Darjeeling one can visit Pashupati Market at India-Nepal border and Jorpokhri – The car will be at your disposal- Back to Darjeeling – In the evening Mall and Chowrasta can be visited to buy handicrafts , souvenir, eatables and others – Overnight stay at Darjeeling Day – 04 – Departure from Darjeeling to Siliguri – Morning breakfast – After breakfast returning back to Siliguri / New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) or Bagdogra Airport (IXB) / Tenzing Norgay Bus Stand (Junction) -Nearly 80 kilometers 3 .30hours – 4 hours sloping down drive from Darjeeling to Siliguri .
